Today you will have the morning flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park for the game drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before moving onto Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge.

Lunch and dinner are provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person.

The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel.

Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June - December) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains.

Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lions and leopards.

Following an early morning breakfast, your driver-guide will lead you on an exciting full-day game drive in central Serengeti, with a packed lunch.

Following the extensive game drive, you'll return to your lodge to spend the night, eagerly anticipating the adventures that await you the next day.

The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration.

Vast numbers of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month, you just need to know where to look! Depending on what time of year you come, you may get a chance to witness one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Natural World.

After breakfast, descend into the crater for a crater game tour. Later on, you will drive to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Often called the eighth Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed.

The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19km wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps and open grasslands.

These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals—including elephants, warthogs, flamingoes, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest.Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
